TDLC¡¯s Operational Support (OS) activities utilize the knowledge and expertise of Japanese city authorities and urban development experts to provide customized advisory, analytics, and capacity-building assistance that enhance ongoing and pipeline ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¨Cfinanced projects in developing countries.

Operational Support provides ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ client country representatives with access to customized support that helps them scale their projects back home.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ leverages TDLC¡¯s Operational Support both at the upstream stage, using it in conjunction with Technical Deep Dives to help identify new support opportunities for developing countries in connection with ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ projects, and at the project implementation stage, to inform and support such projects.

  • Provided technical assistance in design of the Indonesia Local Service Delivery Improvement Project (US$350M)
  • Exposure trip to SWM facilities of Yokohama and Kitakyushu
  • Continued technical assistance in project implementation of the Madagascar Integrated Urban Development and Resilience Project for Greater Antananarivo (US$125M) -  Target beneficiaries of 2.65 million people
  • Technical sessions and demonstration workshop on citizen engagement;
  • Wrap up of the OS technical assistance for the India Gujarat Resilient Cities Program  ($280M)
  • Technical clinics on digitalizing monitoring of sewage systems
