Disabled Ex-Combatants in Rwanda Regain Their Autonomy and Rebuild Their Lives

The Rwanda Demobilization and Reintegration Commission, with support from the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and development partners, spearheaded an effort to categorize ex-combatants by degree of permanent disability in order to offer them tailored support. They are part of thriving cooperatives, live in adapted housing and enjoy a high degree of integration in the general population. This is the fourth in a series of videos about former combatants in Rwanda.
