Understanding Business Opportunities in ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-Financed Projects

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ finances investment projects in low and middle-income economies to help end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet.?Our portfolio covers over 1,500 investment projects across the globe, with an active total net commitment of $250 billion.??The governments that borrow from the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ require access to a broad range of suppliers that provide the civil works, goods, services, and specialized consulting services needed to achieve successful project outcomes. Procurement in ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳-financed investment projects is carried out by ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ borrowers with fiduciary oversight and technical support from the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce, is hosting a seminar for U.S. companies in the mid-Atlantic region who have a proven track record of working in emerging and developing economies to learn about business opportunities generated by Bank-financed projects. In addition, we will feature sessions on supplying directly to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group for its 150 offices around the world, as well as ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group instruments that support private sector investment.
