By taking advantage of the visit by ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ CEO Kristalina Georgieva to attend the conference organized by the Government of Japan on November 1-3, ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and Keio University organized a special lecture at Keio University on November 2, 2017. Professor Akira Haseyama, President of Keio University, opened and introduced Georgieva, who talked about global development issues including gender equality and the role of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group. Takeshi Fujitani, Director of Audience Engagement and Content Strategy, Asahi Shimbun, moderated Q&A session with the participants, following the lecture.
Prior to the event, Georgieva met with 10 scholars from Asia and Africa currently studying at Keio University¡¯s Graduate School of Business and Commerce, funded by the Joint Japan/ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) administered by the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in partnership with the Government of Japan.
