Overview

Sweden became a member of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ¡ª the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ ¡ª on Aug. 31, 1951. Today, Sweden is a member of the five institutions that form the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group. Sweden and the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ work with other member governments to finance projects, design policies, and deliver programs to end poverty in the developing world.
