This year was marked by the refinement and implementation of innovative measures already delivered under the WBG Evolution to ensure a Bigger and Better Bank. At the same time, new measures to strengthen the Bank¡¯s financing capacity and operational efficiency and effectiveness were launched, driven by a President whose ambition for scale, speed and impact has kept the reform momentum going. And it was above all a year marked by the launch of the IDA21 replenishment negotiations.
