Marie-Chantal Uwanyiligira is the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳'s Division Director for C?te d¡¯Ivoire, Benin, Guinea, and Togo since July 1st, 2023.
Prior to this assignment, Marie-Chantal Uwanyiligira was the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Country Manager for Madagascar.
A Rwandan national, she joined the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in 1995 as an Operations Officer in the Kigali country office.
She has since held various positions, including as Deputy Chief of Staff in the President¡¯s Office, Country Programs Coordinator for Senegal Country Management Unit, Practice Manager in the Water Global Practice and Head of Office for the Chief Executive Officer of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳.
Her prior Bank experience includes executive positions in the private sector as well teaching assignments in universities.
She holds a master¡¯s degree in economics and business administration.
