Maria Laura Gonzalez Canosa is a consultant in the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s East Asia and Pacific Chief Economist Office, where she leads outreach and dissemination for publications and other knowledge products.
Before joining the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, Maria Laura worked with The Animal Fund, an international NGO; CleantechHUB, an innovation platform; the Chamber of Commerce of Colombia; and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
She brings experience in digital content strategy and stakeholder engagement. She has a background spanning economic analysis, project coordination, and strategic communications.
Maria Laura is completing a Master¡¯s degree in Economic Expertise for Public Policies and Development Projects from Sorbonne University (Universit¨¦ Paris 1 Panth¨¦on-Sorbonne). She holds a Master¡¯s degree in Economics and Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, jointly delivered with Universitat Aut¨°noma de Barcelona. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Italian.
