Laura Gregory

Senior Education Specialist

Laura Gregory is a Senior Education Specialist in the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s Education Global Practice. She co-leads the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s global teachers work program, which works to deepen the knowledge base and support policy dialogue and operations on strengthening the teaching profession and workforce. Previously, she led or supported education projects and studies in MENA and elsewhere on topics such as teaching, learning, and assessment; education statistics, indicators, and research; school evaluation; and blended learning. She has authored, co-authored, and contributed to numerous reports including ¡°¡±, ¡°¡±, and ¡°¡± She has also supported the development of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s EdStats platform.

Prior to joining the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, Laura was a Statistician in the UK Prime Minister¡¯s Strategy Unit and in the Scottish Government¡¯s Education and Health Departments. Her career began as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher, with 8 years¡¯ experience in Australian and Scottish schools. She holds a Masters in Statistics and a Bachelor of Education.
