The Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) is a key event during the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group-International Monetary Fund (WBG-IMF) Spring and Annual Meetings. The forum provides an open space for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)* to dialogue and exchange views with WBG and IMF staff, their peers, government delegations, and other stakeholders on a wide range of shared development issues.

Furthermore, the WBG-IMF Annual Meetings 2022 is confirmed to take place in person from Monday, October 10, through Sunday, October 16 in the IMF and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group headquarters, in Washington DC.

ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are pleased to inform you that member elections for the 2022-2024 Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) Working Group are now OPEN!

The Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) Working Group serves as an interlocutor with the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group (WBG) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) civil society teams to effectively achieve the objectives of the forum as a means for engagement and a platform for a globally and thematically diverse group of civil society to voice their concerns, share ideas and experiences, and dialogue with staff on a wide range of issues and development topics. If you or your colleagues are interested in joining the Working Group, and fit the following criteria, please submit your nominations through this by September 19.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES:

• Familiarity with WBG, IMF and CSPF: Candidates must have attended the CSPF at least twice in the last 5 years.
• Commitment: For the two-year term period, candidates must be eager to actively engage with civil society in their region and volunteer a few hours a month for calls, emails, meetings, and other work throughout the year, and more intensively prior to and during the CSPF at Spring and Annual Meetings.
• Regional representation: Seats on the CSPF are organized by region and, ideally, candidates will be based in the region they represent. However, in situations where a candidate has ties with the region through their work but is based elsewhere, they should provide an explanation for why they are applying under that region.
• Re-election of current WG members: Only one re-election is possible.
