To make progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals for water supply and sanitation, more investments are required but equally import?ant, improved efficiency is critical, particularly if these investments are to translate into improved health outcomes, such as reduced stunting. ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s Water Supply, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Poverty Diagnostic Initiative reveals that when interventions such as water supply and sanitation, access to health care, and other drivers of nutrition are combined, their impacts on addressing childhood stunting are greater than the sum of their parts.
