ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Tokyo Office is working with Japanese academia to achieve both a better dissemination of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ research findings and project information and a greater participation of Japanese scholars in the Bank research projects and other knowledge exchange activities.
In April-July 2004, the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ undertook a pilot seminar series program on key development agendas, in collaboration with and , whereby the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ staff share the first-hand experiences. This was the first attempt by the Bank to offer an accredited course in collaboration with universities.
Between April and July 2004, the (Graduate Program on Human Security), the , and the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Tokyo Office jointly organized a workshop series on human security.
