Zainab Ahmed, a Nigerian national, has served as the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Group Executive Director representing Angola, Nigeria, and South Africa since November 2024. Prior to this role, she was the Alternate Executive Director from July 2023.
Ms. Ahmed is a seasoned accountant and politician with extensive experience in public finance and economic planning. She served as Nigeria¡¯s Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning from 2019 to 2023 and previously held the position of Minister of State for Budget and National Planning from 2015 to 2018.
