Christoph Lakner?is the Program Manager for?Global Poverty and Inequality Data in the Development Data Group (Data Analytics team) at the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. His research interests include inequality, poverty, and labor markets in developing countries. He is also involved in the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s global poverty monitoring. Christoph leads the Global Poverty and Inequality Data team in the Development Data Group, which co-produces the?, the home of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳¡¯s global poverty numbers. He served as co-lead of the?Poverty, Prosperity, and Planet Report 2024: Pathways Out of the Polycrisis.

Christoph holds a D.Phil., M.Phil., and B.A. in Economics from the University of Oxford.
