The main objective of this consultancy is to contribute and support WB Technical Assistance (TA) activities to the Comorian Ministry of Education through collecting and analyzing data about the school infrastructure in targeted schools nationwide. The results from this consultancy will also inform the preparation of a prioritization framework; intervention strategy; and estimation of investment needs for inspected schools. Specifically; the deliverables under this Terms of Reference (ToR) are:1. Prepare data collection forms and training materials for field inspection campaigns2. Conduct a flood and cyclone vulnerability and risk assessment of schools that are identified as high risk to floods and cyclones under the IPF project and develop a prioritization framework. 3. Propose recommendations for intervention strategy and investment needs for the repair; rehabilitation; or retrofitting of the school infrastructure.?4. Strengthen the awareness and capacity of local stakeholders. The services will be provided by a consultancy firm which will be referred to as "The Firm" in the remainder of the document. The Firm will work in coordination with the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ (WB) team to execute services. The Firm will also collaborate with the Ministry of National Education; Higher Education and Scientific Research for Training and Professional Integration (MEN) and will also coordinate in the field with local authorities to participate in the field inspection.
