The EUR Logistics Services Project; part of IFC¡¯s Country Economics and Advisory (CAE) portfolio in Europe; encompasses Moldova; Ukraine; Serbia; and Albania. The advisory support focuses on three key areas: (i) Enabling Regulatory and Policy Reform ¨C supporting governments in identifying and implementing priority reforms in logistics and warehousing to enhance efficiency and attract investment; in close alignment with EU requirements and standards; (ii) Strengthening Private Sector Capacity ¨C providing targeted training and advisory support to boost the competitiveness of local logistics and warehousing firms; (iii) Promoting Green and Digital Transformation ¨C assessing green and digital investment needs and assisting high-potential firms in identifying and adopting relevant solutions.In line with the second pillar; Strengthening Private Sector Capacity; IFC is planning to assist the private operators in the logistics sector of Moldova through a series of training sessions with the aim to improve their operational efficiency and alignment with international standards. The trainings will cover key areas such as logistics and supply chain design; planning and optimization; digitalization of logistics processes; warehouse; transportation and distribution management; implementation of international standards and best practices; green logistics and sustainability practices; customs procedures and risk management; strategic planning; etc.
