1.1               The activities undertaken through this assignment will contribute to improving road safety management and auditing practices for provincial and local roads in Nepal by assessing current overall road safety management capacity; conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of existing design standards; and delivering targeted training programs for road safety leaders and auditors. This initiative aims to develop tailored safety guidelines; improvement plan for strengthening road safety management capacity; and build the capacity of key stakeholders to implement effective road safety measures and conduct thorough audits; ultimately leading to enhanced road safety outcomes for underserved and rural communities.
