Jeremy Lebow is an Economist in the Social Protection unit of the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, working primarily on the topics of labor, migration, and skills development. Jeremy holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Duke University. He joined the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ as a Young Professional in 2022 in the Poverty and Equity Practice for East Africa. He has published several papers in academic journals including the Journal of Development Economics and the Journal of Public Economics, in particular on the economic and social effects of mass migration and the causes and consequences of gender inequality in developing countries (). Prior to the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, he worked with the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab and Innovations for Poverty Action on various topics in development economics in Latin America and South Asia.
